Cini Mini – Pyramide

The challenge

How do you use more than a brand's art and name? Cini Mini's characters are established in TV and print advertising as rascals who lick and bite each other — I wanted to actually build that personality into the gameplay, not just skin a generic game with it.

The design decision

A stacking game where players build a pyramid of Cini Mini characters while managing the characters' own mischief — licking each other, causing the stack to collapse — as the core obstacle. The brand's personality trait is the mechanic, not decoration on top of one.

The outcome

The game ran as a microsite tied to a limited ad flight and went offline after about a month, so there's no ranking data to point to. This one rests on the design decision itself rather than a metric — which is fine, and worth saying honestly.

A note on the numbers: these are kids'-audience placements, so there's no funnel or retargeting data. "Most-played" is the platform's own ranking, not a marketing metric — I'd rather say that plainly than dress it up.
